The Final Photo Electoral Rolls, 2026 for all four Assembly Constituencies of Kakching District have been published on 6th September, 2026 following the completion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). The rolls are available for public inspection at the concerned ERO/ERO offices. Helpline: 1950.

The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kakching District, has issued a notice informing applicants for appointment to the Administrative Committee of each Zilla Parishad of Kakching District that all applications will be screened by a constituted committee. Eligible applicants are required to appear in person before the Screening Committee with all relevant documents at the scheduled date, time, and venue.

The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kakching District, has issued a notice directing all concerned officers to ensure that applicants residing within Kakching Municipal Council (KMC), Kakching Khunou Municipal Council (KKMC), and Sugnu Municipal Council (SMC) produce a valid Property Tax Payment Receipt/Property Tax Clearance Certificate and proof of enrollment under the Solid Waste Management (SWM) System before any certificates are processed or issued. The notice comes into effect immediately and remains valid until further orders.

The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kakching District, Government of Manipur, has issued a notification inviting claims and objections regarding the settlement of rights within the proposed Kharung Pat Wildlife Sanctuary under Sections 18 to 26-A of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972 (as amended). The notification includes the sanctuary boundaries, GPS coordinates, and procedures for submitting claims within the prescribed period.

The Government of Manipur, Department of Textiles, Commerce & Industry, vide Notification No. GM-101/1/2021-TCI-T&C&I dated 06 May 2026, has notified The Manipur District Mineral Foundation (Trust) Rules, 2026, which was published in the Extraordinary Manipur Gazette No. 34 dated 14 May 2026.

The Rules have been framed under Section 15A of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 and provide for the constitution, management, administration, utilization of funds, audit and governance of District Mineral Foundations (DMFs) in the State of Manipur. The Rules aim to ensure the welfare and development of mining-affected persons and areas through effective utilization of District Mineral Foundation funds in accordance with the Pradhan Mantri Khanij Kshetra Kalyan Yojana (PMKKKY).

The Office of the DC/District Election Officer, Kakching District, Government of Manipur, has established a Help Desk for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 of Electoral Rolls with 01-07-2026 as the qualifying date. The help desk is located at Room No. A-43, Top Floor, Deputy Commissioner Office Building, Kakching, with helpline numbers 1950 and 9874130576 for public assistance and electoral services.

Applications are invited for sponsorship financial assistance under Mission Vatsalya for destitute and vulnerable children below 18 years in Kakching District, Manipur. Eligible categories include orphans, children of incapacitated parents, and those in need of care and protection. Last date: 20 April 2026.
