Gazette Notification – The Manipur District Mineral Foundation (Trust) Rules, 2026 (Extraordinary Manipur Gazette No. 34 dated 14.05.2026)

The Government of Manipur, Department of Textiles, Commerce & Industry, vide Notification No. GM-101/1/2021-TCI-T&C&I dated 06 May 2026, has notified The Manipur District Mineral Foundation (Trust) Rules, 2026, which was published in the Extraordinary Manipur Gazette No. 34 dated 14 May 2026.

The Rules have been framed under Section 15A of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 and provide for the constitution, management, administration, utilization of funds, audit and governance of District Mineral Foundations (DMFs) in the State of Manipur. The Rules aim to ensure the welfare and development of mining-affected persons and areas through effective utilization of District Mineral Foundation funds in accordance with the Pradhan Mantri Khanij Kshetra Kalyan Yojana (PMKKKY).
